Hari Raja, MD, FACP grew up in Houston and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Houston Baptist University. He then moved to Dallas and earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Raja completed his Internal Medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical School and stayed on as faculty in the General Internal Medicine division. He had many roles at UT Southwestern during his 18-year tenure as faculty including Internal Medicine clerkship director, various administrative positions in curriculum committees, primary care curriculum, global health opportunities, preclinical and clinical curriculum development, and faculty development coordinator for the GIM division.
His main clinical interests include a focus on preventative medicine, care of chronic medical conditions, obesity, and educating patients on their overall medical care. He is passionate about developing long-term relationships with his patients and providing extremely personalized 1:1 care.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, member of Alpha Omega Alpha, and a faculty member at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine, Baylor All Saints Fort Worth, and Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth. He has twin daughters and a son. His personal interests include running, traveling around the world, and listening to music.
